There is nothing more important to a parent than their child's safety.  So handing them over to, even a reputable "child care center", can be nerve racking.  Before considering whether the facility is enjoyable for their children, their safety and security comes first.  And with increasing technology (cameras, monitoring devices, etc.), providing customer's children with exceptionally secure care is fundamental to the success of any daycare center.  If your planning on opening a daycare center, here's an idea you should consider: when looking for (or building) a location, choose an open area floor plan (without separated rooms, aside from bathrooms and possible sleeping areas).  Being able to oversee (and monitor) all the kids at once is much safer for the children, and easier for your staff.  And this is a great step toward helping your center succeed; largely because it's 100% effective when advertising to parents.  But also could save your center money by possibly not having to hire as much staff; since, as I stated, these children can be watched almost all the time by every staff member in one large area.  So, all in all, its an easy way to help sell your center, as well as a moral and cost-effective thing to consider.
