With lawn care, there are things expected when someone hires you (the grass being cut around the same time every week, not hitting sprinklers, watching out for plants and flowers, helping revive dead grass, etc.).  A great way for a lawn business to save money, as well as provide customers an even more appreciated service: switch from gas mowers...to today's equally efficient electric mowers.  The gas is typically figured in with the price most companies charge to mow.  But, for a good size lawn care business, eliminating gas from the mowers (and other lawn care tools) can save thousands; which could then help adjust, and bring down, business prices. This discount can go along way toward helping keep customers around long-term (especially since most of these companies keep their prices very competitive.)  And, another side benefit, is that you don't have those extremely loud and annoying mowers (the new electric are much quieter); which I'm sure customers won't complain too much about.
