Many people are gifted or creative "thinkers".  But along with creativity, my thinking process excels because I have become adept at using patience and focus in setting aside my ongoing life's distractions...while in deep thought.  Everyone has, and can think this way; wherein their minds attention is completely fixated on one thing (i.e.-studying, dealing with a tragedy, being intimate with someone, watching an engrossing movie, being in the middle of an argument or fight, etc. etc.). But, in the twenty-first century, as humans are inundated with technology, products, and an overabundance of information; people typically move on without taking time to clarify, analyze, and think deeply about what their mind is receiving.  And, they have so much in life trying to control their thoughts and emotions, that pushing those influences aside, and placing all their minds attention on something else for long periods, seems to be less and less of a natural ability.  I believe that the famous inventors, scientists, and philosophers of our time were not simply gifted intellectuals, but experts in this control of their wayward thinking.  One philosopher stated that he was great at spending "uninterrupted moments of time colliding his thoughts, without waisting energy having them focused on even a single disassociation".  Einstein himself believed his ability to sit and think was more important than his physical experiments with the famous line "imagination is more important than knowledge".  And in my opinion, there is nothing that can't be proven or solved with the right amount of information and controlled, creative thinking.  Well...I'm testing that with this site...so we'll see (lol).
